Welcome to Eighty8 Productions. By engaging with our services, hiring our studio, or accessing our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General

Eighty8 Productions is a creative studio based in Mount Gravatt East, Brisbane, offering services including but not limited to video production, band rehearsal studio hire, photography, graphic design, website development, livestream solutions, and educational training in partnership with AIAS.

2. Bookings & Payments

  • All bookings must be confirmed with a 50% deposit unless otherwise arranged.
  • The balance is due upon delivery or completion of services.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer or PayID.
  • Late payments may incur a 5% fee per week overdue.

3. Studio Hire Terms

  • Studio bookings are available by appointment only.
  • A minimum 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Clients must leave the space clean and undamaged. A cleaning fee may apply for excessive mess or misuse.
  • Eighty8 Productions is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund of the deposit.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours may forfeit the deposit.
  • If Eighty8 Productions cancels a booking, a full refund or reschedule will be offered.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All creative work remains the property of Eighty8 Productions until payment is received in full.
  • Final materials may be used in our portfolio and promotional channels unless a written agreement states otherwise.
  • Clients retain rights to their original materials (e.g., logos, footage), but derivative works may be subject to licensing or shared use agreements.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must provide all necessary content, files, and instructions in a timely manner.
  • Clients are responsible for securing usage rights for any third-party materials provided to Eighty8 Productions.
  • Feedback and approvals should be provided within agreed project timelines to avoid delays.

7. Livestream & Technical Services

  • Equipment provided for livestreams or installations remains the property of Eighty8 Productions unless purchased outright.
  • Clients are responsible for the safe operation of any equipment used on-site following our training and guidelines.

8. Educational Services

  • Training delivered by AIAS complies with their RTO guidelines and assessment requirements.
  • Enrolments, certifications, and student records are managed by AIAS under national VET standards.

9. Liability

  • Eighty8 Productions will not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages, including data loss or missed commercial opportunities.
  • Liability for any service failure will be limited to the amount paid for that specific service.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of the Queensland courts.
